Hello Kings Peak Community,
I just wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for your participation in the food drive we recently completed. It seriously was humbling to see the amount of excitement, time, and support our students, staff, and parents put in while participating in the drive. One of the reasons I love this holiday season is because it helps us remember the people that have served us, and gives us an extra idea of people we, in return can help. The food and hygiene donations will certainly help our community. Thank you for teaching your kids the meaning of service. Having your kids participate in events like the food drive will serve them well throughout their lives.
Combined with the other elementaries in Roosevelt we were able to donate 4084 pounds of food! That is amazing. Thank You for making that happen. Attached is a picture of the grateful tree our students at KPES have been working on here at school! It has been fun to see the excitement and read all the things our students are grateful for this season. From our Kings Peak family to yours, we hope you all enjoy your families wherever it maybe this holiday season. And one last thank you for raising your kids that teach us as a faculty, more than we can ever teach them.
