Congrats to Tabiona for winning the Attendance March Madness

Hi there,
Exciting news—allocated registration is now open for the 2026 Show Up for Teachers conference!

Register by clicking this link: https://shorturl.at/fPLDQ

This year’s conference features keynote speakers Kim Bearden (co-founder of the Ron Clark Academy) and Bronco Mendenhall (head football coach at Utah State University).
Alongside our keynotes, educators in every role will find sessions designed to support and inspire—including a dedicated Administrator Track for principals and vice principals.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, teachers attend at no cost—made possible by a community that truly shows up for educators.

Space is limited by district and school type (based on FTE allocations), so we encourage early registration. If spots fill, additional registration opens on April 21.

Hello Staff! Please watch the attached digital invitation to this year's 4th annual BASIN NATION!

https://www.youtubeeducation.com/watch?v=4RaTwJrAYlA

We hope you consider joining our RJHS Concert Band, in collaboration with students and teachers from Union, Altamont and Duchesne High School and community members from our wonderful Basin Community!

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. and will display an incredible range of power, emotion and delight in the music performed!

Our students have been working so hard, and we are so excited for all to come and enjoy!

Your attendance and support for this event, whether on or off stage, is greatly appreciated and welcome! Research has proved that music has a profoundly positive impact on student academics, achievement, and development of social and life skills. It is vital to our students and to our Uintah Basin communities and we appreciate all who support the arts! And our students especially love to see their teachers there in support of them!

Thank you, and we hope to see you there!

Hey Duchesne County, gather ‘round,
We’ve got a challenge hitting town!
A jingle contest, rap or rhyme,
About showing up — on time!
Attendance matters every day,
It helps you learn, it helps you play.
So bring your beat, your voice, your flair,
Show the district you’ll be there!
Show up, shine bright —
Do your best, take flight!
Make a jingle, make it clever,
Attendance matters more than ever!

Hello Kings Peak Community,
I just wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for your participation in the food drive we recently completed. It seriously was humbling to see the amount of excitement, time, and support our students, staff, and parents put in while participating in the drive. One of the reasons I love this holiday season is because it helps us remember the people that have served us, and gives us an extra idea of people we, in return can help. The food and hygiene donations will certainly help our community. Thank you for teaching your kids the meaning of service. Having your kids participate in events like the food drive will serve them well throughout their lives.
Combined with the other elementaries in Roosevelt we were able to donate 4084 pounds of food! That is amazing. Thank You for making that happen. Attached is a picture of the grateful tree our students at KPES have been working on here at school! It has been fun to see the excitement and read all the things our students are grateful for this season. From our Kings Peak family to yours, we hope you all enjoy your families wherever it maybe this holiday season. And one last thank you for raising your kids that teach us as a faculty, more than we can ever teach them. 
